Tidy hotel unit with a double bed. Bonus point for an electronic key card, pay television and a study table. Very central location in that area. Based not far from restaurants, shops and Bart Station, the metro station and several restaurants and other areas.

Loved my such great stay for four nights. Also, location was marvellous and incredible, at a medium distance from antique cable cars. It was across the busy area.

Really great staff. Very helpful and kind. Also, the location is probably the best in town. Just next to Powell Station and Union Square, lots of public transport options - not to mention shops, restaurants, bars etc.

The room was a bit too small and crowded, making moving around a little hard. Also, I would prefer a different breakfast selection, probably with the addition of fruit and more cereal.

The location is great, and the room even if small is clean and confortable.

The check in time was exactly at 15:00 not early check in allowed.

If you're taking a holiday in San Fransisco, you must stay at this hotel. If you want to the G.G. Bridge, and all that downtown has to offer, you will regret staying anywhere else. Two blocks away there's a hotel I almost booked, but its swarming with homeless people. The Stratford is literally "on the strip" and you'll realize what I mean when you get there.

Room was kind of tight, but comfortable for two people. You're paying for the location. location, location, location. No joke. And the room was affordable too, breakfast was light but good before a day trek through the city.

They charged my credit card for 2000$ instead of 200$. After they did this mistake they were also not helpful in trying to solve this issue. I had to have a long argument before getting everything set.

Hotel was comfortable and close to all facilties. We enjoyed our stay very much Thank you to staff for their attentivness

Charming Rooms and Convenient Location!

The onsite restaurant served delicious meals that were a perfect end to our day. Pro tip, Enjoy the complimentary drinks during happy hour in the lounge area for a relaxing experience.

I like the fact that it was centrally located to most areas we spent time in.

I was surprised at the size of the room and a starnge smell that was present in the room once we first arrived or renetered after being out of the room for several hours. I was also disappointed to find that there was no AC.

I very much liked the location and comfort and helpful service. I would stay at the Stratford again and would recommend it for a "no frills" place to stay in San Francisco. I think it is great that you ask for feedback as this is the only way to improve business. Cheers Annetta

Breakfast was pretty ordinary. I think continental means a selection of cereals (not just muesli) and there was no fruit available - when we got to breakfast anyway. Also the lifts definitely need an upgrade (as a priority) Cheers Annetta

The hotel offered a clean and well-decorated room right in Union Square. It was small, and the absence of daily room service was unexpected. The area can get noisy, especially from street music at night, which might bother some guests.

Nothing to complain about, the venue met my requirements. I stayed here for 10 nights, the hotel was recently refurbished, with great location just next door to many restaurants, galleries, and the Powell Street BART and streetcar stop and Pier 39 and shops, restaurants and transport. The room was huge and silent with shower and the bedroom, as example as expected.
